Sending a survey

Surveys can be sent from two locations in the product
  • App Page
  • Workflow Request Overview Page
 
Who can create or send a survey?
Currently, only admins have the ability to create and send surveys.
 

App page

Surveys can be sent for any application in your portfolio. Following these steps to send a survey
 
  1. Navigate to the Surveys Tab within the Application page.

  2. Start a New Survey by clicking the "Create new survey" button.

  3. A modal window will appear, allowing you to specify survey details.

    • (1) Select form: Choose the appropriate survey you would like to send
    • (2) Survey deadline: Specify the desired end date for the survey. Responses will not be accepted after this date.
    • (3) Selecting users: You can either add users manually or choose to upload in bulk using a csv file.

      • (4) Import from csv: Upload a CSV file containing the list of email addresses of intended recipients in the first column.
        • Tip: Utilize the product's built-in feature to download user lists (e.g. engaged users, provisioned users etc) as CSV files to get a head start.
      • (5) Add users manually: Enter the name of the user one by one to add them manually
  • Once you've added recipients, click "Send survey" to initiate the survey.
 

Workflow - Request Overview page

Surveys can also be sent as a part of a renewal workflow of a given application.
  1. Navigate to the Insights section within the Request Overview page

  2. Click the “Start survey” button

  3. A modal window will appear, allowing you to specify survey details.image.png
    • (1) Select form: Choose the appropriate survey you would like to send
