Scheduling provisioning workflows

Automate workflows for regular provisioning clean-up

Determine how and when the license provisioning workflow should run, whether the workflow acts directly to make licensing changes or makes suggestions for licensing changes. After testing rules and setting up the notifications, a schedule lets you run the automation workflow according to the timing that works best in your organization.

To schedule the automation workflow:

1. On the Automation page of the app, select Create a schedule.
2. In the Automate provisioning popup, select the frequency from the Repeats drop down.
3. Select the number related to the selected frequency.
4. Select the Day to run the workflow from the drop down.
5. Select Save and start automating, or if you want to wait before starting, select Save as paused schedule.
6. The workflow rules will display under Provisioning results, where you can access the workflow results.
7. To pause a scheduled workflow, select Pause. If the schedule is paused, select Restart schedule to begin running the workflow according to the schedule again.
