Supplier custom fields

Supplier custom fields allow you to capture  Supplier-specific data based on your organization needs. This allows you to use Productiv as the source of truth about your supplier catalog. This feature offers greater flexibility for users to customize supplier profiles with important data tied to integrations or defined manually, helping teams better track and manage supplier-related information.

Create new supplier custom field

  1. To create new supplier custom field
  2. Navigate to Suppliers landing page
  3. Click on “+ Custom field” button, on click a new column is added to the Suppliers table

4.  Enter the vendor custom field name by clicking on the column header

5. To define the type of custom field click on the “Text “ menu button and select the appropriate type.
Supplier custom field support the following types
  • Text
  • Single select
  • Multi select
  • Number
  • Date
  • Currency
  • Hyperlink

6. For single select and multi select field types, you need to additionally enter the options. Click on the cell with the placeholder text “Add option”, enter the option values and hit enter.

7. Continue to add more options. Once completed adding options click outside, now the custom field is created and ready to use.

View/Update supplier custom field values

Supplier custom fields if available are displayed  in Supplier details page , Supplier landing page & App overview page .

Suppliers landing page

if you have added supplier custom fields and still don’t see it in the Suppliers table. Click on “Manage columns” button and in the menu select the supplier custom fields that you want to be displayed in the list
To update/add value to the supplier custom field click on the table cell and update the value of the corresponding supplier custom field

Supplier details page

Supplier custom fields, if configured  will be show  in the right pane of supplier details page. You can click on the custom field value to update the value. You can also view the Audit log for that respective field, by clicking on the Audit log icon.

App overview page

Supplier custom fields, if configured will be show on the right pane section of the App overview page. You can click on the custom field value to update the value. You can also view the Audit log for that respective field, by clicking on the Audit log icon.
