Working with documents

Learn more about engagement with document apps

 

Determine exactly how your company is using documents to share and collaborate both internally and externally on the Documents page.

Document feature use for an app is collected through its engagement connector.

To open the Documents page, open the app you want to view, and select the Documents tab.

The Documents page shows the total number of documents with individual, internal and external engagement during the selected date/window of time, as well as visualizations to help you determine exactly how your company is collaborating using this app.

Find out if your organization is using the app to work with documents for individual team members, or to collaborate on the same team, on teams across the organization, or with external audiences in the Collaboration charts and Venn diagram.

Track trends for changes in how people have used the app to collaborate with documents in the Collaboration over time chart. Use this data to inform education efforts for improving collaboration behaviors in your organization, such as using documents to share information across teams.

View any annotations by selecting the annotation markers at the bottom of the chart. Application Admins and Productiv Super Admins can add a new annotation to the chart.

To see the usage trend over a different time period, select 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.

To switch between the number of users and a percentage of provisioned users, select the Magnitude or %/Provisioned Users label.

Filter the chart by the type of document collaboration by selecting the labels at the bottom of the chart.

Select Download trends as .csv to send data to a .csv file.

Understand where your users are engaging with this app on the Activity by platform charts, showing the device and integration engagement and the actions performed on each type of device.

Track trends for changes in how people have used the app to work with documents across different types of Devices, as integrations with different Platforms, and by performing different Actions on the three tabs of the Activity by platform chart.

Use this data to inform education efforts for improving collaboration behaviors in your organization, such as sharing documents across teams.
