This can help streamline your tech stack, improve cost efficiency, and reduce redundancies.
Using similar apps
To get started, navigate to the overview page of any app you would like to review. This could be any app in your organization's portfolio. Next, scroll down to find the section called “Similar Apps”:
On the left, you will see the top ranked capabilities for the application you are viewing. Productiv assesses an application’s capabilities and functionalities, and lists the most relevant ones here so you can see what applications are used for at a glance!
On the right, Productiv lists other applications within your app portfolio that also have the same capability. The apps on the right are ranked so applications with the most similar capabilities appear first in the list.
If Productiv does not find any applications in your portfolio with similar capabilities, that’s good news! It means that the app you are viewing has unique capabilities in your portfolio.
Searching for different capabilities
Productiv only lists the top capabilities of each application. However, some applications can do many things! If you have a particular capability or functionality you would like to search for across your app portfolio, you can use the search by capability feature.
Simply enter the desired capability, or describe a feature you are looking for and Productiv will search for other applications in your portfolio that have that capability. (Searches such as “Whiteboarding” and “Ability to draw on a whiteboard in a meeting” are both valid!)
Compare similar applications
You can select an application with overlapping functionality and compare it directly with another.
Instantly compare key metrics like contract terms, renewal dates, and usage patterns to ensure you're getting the most from your investments.
