Exporting Data Out of Productiv

Help Center: Exporting Your Data from Productiv

Productiv provides several ways to export your data, whether you need to perform custom analysis, satisfy audit requirements, or maintain offline records. Data can be retrieved either through our Developer APIs or directly via CSV downloads within the platform.

1. Programmatic Exports (via API)

For automated reporting or integration with other internal tools, you can use the Productiv Developer API to export the following data sets:

  • Application Portfolio: Retrieve a high-level summary of your managed applications.
  • App Details: Access deep-dive data for specific applications.
  • Admin Audit Events: Export a log of administrative actions for security and compliance monitoring.

2. Contracts & Documentation

To manage and export your contract data, navigate to the Contracts Page and select the Uploads Tab.

  • Full Contract List: Click the Download as .csv button to export a spreadsheet of all contract records.
  • Individual Files: To download a specific contract document, simply click on the File Name within the list.
  • App Contacts: You can bulk download application contact information using the Bulk edit app contact feature.

3. User & Usage Data

User-related information and audit trails can be found in your account settings.

  • User List: Navigate to Settings → Users Tab to view and manage your seat data.
  • User Audit History: To export the history for a specific user, click View Audit History and select the download option from the resulting pop-up modal.

4. Financial & Workflow Data

You can export activity and spending records directly from their respective modules.

  • Expense Data: Navigate to the Expenses Page and click Download as .csv to export your full expense list.
  • Workflow Data: Navigate to the Workflows Page and click Download as .csv to export your Workflow Run List.

5. Metrics & Calculated Data

Productiv generates various metrics and insights across the platform. Whenever you open a data modal (a pop-up window showing specific breakdowns or calculations), look for the Download as .csv button to export that specific set of calculated data.
