It's important to note that ELM (Elastic License Management) workflows don’t run at a set time and can run at any point during the day. Other items to consider:
- If a workflow is set to run after a waiting period, and the user is considered active based on current data, the Productiv system will no longer act on the user when the workflow is executed after the waiting period (even if they were added to or matched the rules set in the initial deprovisioning workflow).
- Automated workflows act on the most recent aggregated data, which can sometimes be a few days old depending on the application, its API delays, and daily aggregations.
- There are certain scenarios in which the system may deem a user active before a workflow runs, but if Productiv is unable to get or fetch the most aggregated data, the user will still get acted on and their license removed.
