Using Reports you can collect data and have it sent to yourself or other stakeholders on a regular basis or to pull the data immediately.
To launch the Reports screen, click the icon on the left hand navigation menu. The Reports screen appears.
The screen is divided as follows:
| 1 | Reports view where you see all existing reports |
| 2 | Templates view where you can create new reports. |
| 3 | Allows you to make a new report |
| 4 | Where you can act on an existing report. If you are a Super Admin or creator of the report you are able to edit it. |
Reports screen
On the Reports screen views include:
| Productiv views | Includes upcoming renewals, security, my apps, high spend and low usage, discovered, compliance, security apps with expenses, apps with contracts, and apps to put behind SSO. |
| Custom views | Includes any custom view created by you . |
Clicking Create returns the Create a New Report modal.
| Report Name | Required field where you name your report. |
| Report Delivery | List of people to receive the report via email. This must be Productiv user. |
| Slack | Configure slack integration to receive reports in a channel. |
| Google Drive | Configure Google Drive to save reports there automatically. |
Reporting Scheduling options include daily, weekly, or monthly.
Subscribing from the Apps Screen
You are able to subscribe or create a report from the apps screen.
Example 1 - Subscribing or Creating a New Report from the App Portfolio screen
Do the following:
- On the left hand navigation menu, click the App Portfolio icon

- Click the More Options icon
.
- From the context menu, select Scheduled Reports.
The Schedule Reports appear, along with an option to create a New Report.
Example 2 - Create a Report
To create a report, do the following:
- On the left hand navigation menu, click the Reports icon
.
The Reports screen appears. - Click New Report.
The Reports screen changes so the Template tab is selected.
The Reports found in the templates tab matches your Apps View.
- Click Create next to the report you want to run.
The Create a new report: Upcoming renewals pop-up appears. - Input a Report Name.
- Add any recipients.
- Expand the schedule pane.
- Toggle the schedule report on.
- Set your schedule.
- Click Done.
- Select the Reports tab.
Your report appears on the topmost line.
