Pricing benchmarks showcase what you can expect to pay for application SKUs based on what others in the industry are paying. By comparing your current pricing to market benchmarks, you can ensure you are making informed spend decisions across your technology stack.
Note: Pricing benchmarks are only available for apps where there is uploaded contract data.

Understanding pricing benchmark data
If pricing benchmark information is available for licenses in your contract, you'll see a list of cards, each representing a different license.
-
License Range Selection: Choose the license range that best aligns with your planned purchase. For example, if you're buying 30 licenses, select the "0-50" range.
-
Pricing Breakdown: Recommended Annual Cost is displayed for different contract terms (e.g., 1, 2, 3 years). This indicates the estimated total cost per license for each term.
- In this example, the SKU “License #1” should cost between $920 - $940 for a 1 year term, $900 - $925 for 2 years and $890 - $910 for 3 years based on the industry data available.

Adding New Licenses to the Benchmark: To get pricing information for a new license, click the "+ Add License" button. This will allow you to view benchmarking data on different license SKUs.
How we calculate pricing benchmarks
- Computing the price range – Productiv's price range is determined by calculating a percentile range around the median price. The percentile range is variable depending on each benchmark's data set.
- Statistically significant – Data is only shown when enough industry data is available.
Not included in our calculations
Productiv only takes into account the reported cost per license. We don’t include in our calculations other line items that can contribute to a lower license cost such as multiple-app discounts or one-time discounts.
