Pricing benchmarks are only available for apps where there is uploaded contract data. Benchmarks are not available for Essentials customers.

- app engagement by team or individuals, including feature-level usage, and
- app pricing.
Benchmarking data for your organization can help you…
- evaluate how apps are being used by teams in your organization,
- evaluate whether people or teams are making good use of a particular app feature,
- compare how similar apps are being used at your organization,
- compare the price you’re paying per license, with the median price paid by similar companies,
All of the above information can aid in right-sizing your app distribution throughout your organization, and especially aid in vendor negotiations at app license renewal time.

When no data is available
We can only calculate pricing benchmarks when our customers upload as much of their contract data as possible. Customers who do not upload app contract data will still be able to see other benchmarks, such as those for discovered and managed apps, and app engagements, but they will not receive Productiv insights on app pricing.

Improving Productiv’s benchmark database
Productiv’s benchmark database serves individual customers by helping them see how their app pricing compares with other similar companies, and helps ALL Productiv customers by creating the most actionable dataset possible.
The more contract data our customers upload, the better the insights we can give them, AND the better information we have about individual app usage across our whole anonymized dataset. The more data we collect, the better our coverage of benchmarks will be.
