Authenticating automated messages that use a customized 'from' address

Ensure that users receive provisioning notification emails by authenticating your customized 'from' address to avoid automated emails being sent to spam folders or flagged with warning messages. During this DKIM verification process, you'll need to add CNAME records to your domain's DNS provider.

When setting a provisioning user notification ‘from’ address, Productiv provides three CNAME records in the Verification Sent confirmation.

To complete DKIM verification:

1. In Productiv, navigate to the Provisioning notifications section on the Organization Settings page, to obtain the three CNAME records that specify the record name, the record type (CNAME) and the record value. These records can be downloaded as a .csv file.
2. Navigate to the Settings in your domain's DNS provider.
3. Add each of the three provided CNAME records. The method of adding these records to your domain will vary, depending on the domain provider.

Productiv will attempt to verify the new settings. If the verification has not been completed within 72 hours, return to the Organization Settings page to restart the verification process.
