After uploading org chart information from either a HR data connector or a .csv upload, you need to match the columns from the upload to the expected columns in Productiv to finish processing the data.
Column names are mapped as part of your org chart upload process. However, you can edit the column mapping to change them if needed.
To edit how columns are mapped to Productiv:
- Navigate to the Settings page from the left-side menu. The “Manage Data” tab should already be selected.
- Under the “Platform data” section, scroll down to “Org chart data”
- Click the > on the right side of the section. This will open the Org chart data page.
- If you’ve uploaded data via an HR connector, follow these steps:
- Under Data mappings, click on Edit column mappings. This button will only appear if the data source was an HR connector and the data has been processed.
- For each column, select an option from the Uploaded column drop down list. The columns with an asterisk (*) are required.
- When you have finished mapping columns, select Done in the upper right corner.
- If you’ve uploaded data via a .csv file and want to change the column mappings, follow these steps:
-
- Click “Start another .csv import” on the right.
- Download the current org chart .csv as prompted.
- Upload the org chart .csv that you just downloaded, do not change the file.
- Use “Step 3: Map columns” to edit the column mappings in your current .csv. Click “Finish importing” when you’re done.
