Understand Productiv platform data sources

Productiv integrates with a variety of leading platforms through API connections that provide accurate, up-to-date data automatically and continuously for easy data ingestion and insights. Set up time and procedures for each connector vary, depending on the type of data, the platform, and the volume of information (based on the size of the organization).

A set up guide for each connection includes information about application access permissions needed to connect to that platform, including:

• What access that app’s API provides
• What information Productiv has access to
• What information Productiv fetches and stores

Productiv works with platform data teams to get the minimum access necessary. However, each application API varies on data access.

If a supported API connection is not available for the platform you use, or you prefer to try out the data before connecting via API, most platform data types also support a .csv file upload. This option is less automated and may require regular .csv uploads to keep data up-to-date.
