Introduction
Benchmarks in Productiv provide valuable insights into how your organization's app portfolio and usage compare to industry peers. By understanding and leveraging this data, you can optimize your app investments, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.The comparisons are based on anonymized data from companies with similar sizes and license counts, known as a cohort.
Types of Benchmarks
- Portfolio Benchmarks: These benchmarks compare your organization's overall app portfolio size (number of managed and discovered apps) to the median number for similar-sized companies in your cohort.
- Individual App Benchmarks: These benchmarks focus on specific apps, providing insights into user engagement and pricing.
Accessing Benchmark Data
Portfolio Benchmarks:
Shows the number of managed and discovered apps in your company's portfolio compared to the median number for all similar-sized companies in your cohort. Productiv displays benchmarks for your company's cohort in the App list, Managed apps, and Discovered apps sections.

Individual App Benchmarks
User Engagement Benchmarks
For apps with connected engagement connectors, you can find user engagement benchmarks on the app Overview and Teams pages. These benchmarks provide insights into how effectively your company is using the app and can inform adoption campaigns and goals.

- Data: Median percentage of engaged app users by number and by team.

Pricing Benchmarks
For apps with contract data, the Contracts page will display pricing benchmarks that compare your pricing to the median price per license by license tier. Use these benchmarks alongside recommendations to prepare for contract renewal negotiations.
Available only for apps with uploaded contract data
- Location: App Contracts and Recommendation pages
- Data: Comparison of your app's pricing per license to the cohort median.
