When your organization stops using an application that has an engagement connector configured in Productiv, you should disconnect that application’s engagement connector in Productiv.
Procedure
- Navigate to the Settings page from the left-side menu. The “Manage data” tab should already be open.
- Scroll down to the Engagement apps section. In the table of apps, locate the app you wish to disconnect.
- In the far-right column of the table, click the triple-dot menu. Productiv displays a drop-down list of possible actions.
- Click Disconnect. Productiv displays the Disconnect pop-up.
- If desired, enter any notes about the pending disconnection.
- Click the red Disconnect button.
The status of the app’s engagement connector will change to Disconnected.
Reconnecting the Productiv engagement connector
When you change an engagement connector’s status to Disconnected, it does not delete the engagement connector. You can activate the connector again at any time.
What happens to the collected data?
When you’ve disconnected the app, data is no longer collected for that application. However, the data that has been previously collected remains visible while you have a date/window of time selected during which data for that app was collected. You will no longer see data from the app once the selected date/window of time no longer includes a time when data was collected for that app.
