Manage app request approvals and app license tiers
The AppCenter tab Approvals and license tiers section displays your site’s default approval settings, notes which apps have license tiers enabled, and enables you to manage individuals apps that have approval requirements.
Default approval settings
Displays your site’s default approval method, the user ID for the default approver, and the user ID for the fallback approver. (The fallback approver is used in cases where the default approver is the approver’s manager, and that person cannot be determined.)
To alter these settings, click Edit. Productiv displays the Update default approval settings dialog box.
Settings you can change include:

App and license tier level settings
This function sets up the workflow for approving individual license requests:
- without additional management approval,
- with one approver for that app or app tier, OR
- with dual approval
It also enables you to specify which tiers of a multi-tier application are visible in the AppCenter. For example, if an application has a basic-level tier and a more advanced tier, and multi-level approvals have been configured at your site, it might be fine to display both tiers in the AppCenter. If multi-level approvals have not yet been configured at your site, you may want to offer only the basic tier of the product, and add the more advanced offering later.
To view and edit these settings, click Manage approvals and license tiers. Productiv displays a table of all apps accessible via the AppCenter, with details on the approval workflow for each app or app instance.
Settings you can change include:
