Edit Custom Fields

Seamlessly apply changes to custom fields for multiple apps at a time directly from the Apps List. Users can now quickly edit fields such as:  

• Labels.
• Notes.
• Contacts.
• Single and multi-select options. 

Why this Release

Users previously could only edit custom fields from the App Overview page, making it difficult to edit data for multiple apps at once.

Steps

1. Select Apps on the left sidebar once you log into your Productiv account.
2. Click the Change columns button towards the bottom right on the screen.
3. In the General section on the left side, click the Custom fields dropdown below.
4. Select the custom fields you want to edit (click the corresponding checkbox) > select Apply. 
5. For each application on the list, click into a corresponding field > then edit it to your preference (Refer to the screenshots below).

What's Next?

Upcoming changes to this feature include the:

• Ability to add new values for multi-select fields from the Apps List. Currently, users cannot create new values for single-select and multi-select fields.
  • For example, if there is a custom field called "Departments," you can’t add another department to the set of options for the multi-select department field. You can only choose departments from the available set of options.
• Ability to right-click to add a new custom field.
