About the Box connector
Data Security
Tokens generated by the authorization of this connector are stored securely in AWS Secrets Manager. All data is pulled securely and encrypted in transit and at rest. For more information please see our operational security policy.
Productiv stores/analyzes user activity data: basically, who did what activity ,at what time. This, for example, includes the identity of a user updating a file, the file ID (not name) they updated, and the timestamp of when they updated the file. Productiv stores data about user activity on files and user profile/provisioning data to determine who has access to Box.
Note: Productiv does not have any access to any file content, and does not store filenames anywhere in our system.
API Rate Limits
Productiv adheres to the rate limits set by Box. If the connector gets throttled by Box while fetching data, it will back off exponentially to make sure it adheres to all rate limits.
