When building forms, admins can now decide to show fields in a form conditionally, based on responses to previous fields in the form. Both new and existing form fields can be dragged and dropped easily into the conditional section of the form. Conditionality on questions can be nested or chained together as many levels as desired and is supported on all form fields. The supported conditions are specific to the form field type.
Why?
- This feature allows admins to create dynamic forms that adapt and only show relevant questions to users based on their previous selections or inputs, resulting in a better, more streamlined end user experience.
- Avoid users being overwhelmed by a super lengthy form unnecessarily
How?
In the form builder:
- Click to select the question that you want to add a condition to
- Click on the "Add Conditional Question” icon to open the conditional question editor.
- In the conditional question editor, define the conditions that should trigger the display or hiding of the question.
- Specify the necessary criteria or rules for the condition, such as selecting specific answer choices or input values from other questions.
- Drag and drop the form field to display question based on configured condition.
- Repeat step 5 to add more questions to be displayed based on the condition.
