Forms can now be inserted as a task within the workflow builder for any step that supports adding and removing tasks, including Custom Steps, Review Steps, and Approval Steps. These can be added alongside any other task, and even multiple forms can be added to the same step, increasing workflow efficiency and giving users a better understanding of the work that will be required of them.
Note: This update eliminates the need for dedicated "Fill a form" step. While existing "Fill a form" steps will continue to function, they are now considered deprecated – new ones cannot be created. To take full advantage of the improved workflow experience, customers should replace old "Fill a Form" steps with other step types that allow adding tasks.
How
- You can now choose to add the task "Fill form" when configuring any Approval, Review, or Custom steps to ask a users to complete a form.
- When this task is reached, the user will have the ability to complete the chosen form
