This article describes the Summary section of the app Contracts page, and discusses how Productiv derives Contract Annual Spend, Contract Term Spend, Annual $/license, and Annual $.

The app Contracts page's Summary section enables you to view contract annual spend and contract term spent as of any date from 180 days ago through the present. (For a description of how to use the filters, see Filtering by date.)
Note: If there are other contracts with this same vendor, a link displays beneath the Summary table to view other contracts with vendor [vendor name]. For further information, see Vendor page.
The following paragraphs describe this section of the Contacts page in detail.
Contract annual spend
Productiv's calculation of the total annual spend for this app, over all active contracts, as of the date selected in the filter. (This is derived by multiplying the number of licenses by the annual license cost.) If need be, this number is used to derive the Annual $/license, described below.
Contract term spend
Productiv's calculation of the total spend for this app, over all listed contracts, until the last contract term expires.
Next end date
The next date when a contract is set to end.
If you have only one contract, the Next end date is the same as your contract's end date, as shown under User licenses and line items.
If you have more than one contract, the Next end date is the contract end date that's coming up next.
For example, if you have two different contracts listed, and one ends on March 1, 2023, and the other ends on March 25, 2023, the next end date is March 1, 2023.
User licenses and line items
When there is more than one instance of the app, the Contracts page provides a summary of all contracts for all instances of the app. To drill down into individual instances, click the line item for the instance you want to view.
The columns in the User licenses and line items table are:
| License | Type of license; usually this is the vendor's description of that license type. |

| Contract | Contract number or other identification. To drill down on details for this contract, click the contract number. |
| End date | Date the contract term ends |
| Term | Length of the contract term, derived by Productiv from your submitted contract data. If the term is an integer, it is rounded to the closest whole number. (For example, a 5.17 month term is rounded to 5 months; a 5.67 month term is rounded to 6 months.) |
| Number of licenses | Number of licenses, as specified in your contract |
| Annual $/license | The annualized cost of the licenses as either input directly from the contract or derived by Productiv. Note: The annualizing process scales contracts into a 12-month time frame. If your contract is less than 12 months long, the figure here will not be the same as what you committed to in your contract |
| Annual $ | Derived by Productiv by multiplying the number of licenses by the Annual $/license. |
