Previously, you could only assign individual users or app contact types to approve employee app access requests. This lead to delays in the request approval if the assigned users was unavailable. Now you can define a group consisting of multiple approvers who can approve an access request. You can also assign the same group of approvers to multiple apps.
Adding a group approvers in AppCenter
To add a group as approver, navigate to Settings > AppCenter . Select the app to define the approval settings. in the approver field, select type group. After selecting type group, the Add group field will be displayed where you can search and select the group to add the group as approver.
Create a new group
To create new group, navigate to Settings > Users, Scroll down to Productiv groups. Click on "+ Add new group"
In the "Add new group" modal add a group name, description and add users to be part of the group. Click on "Add group" to complete the group creation.
Note: You can also define user groups to be used as assignees as part of Software renewal, New software purchase and General purchase workflows.
