How Does Productiv Manage Recurring Monthly Contracts?
Currently, once Productiv receives a month-to-month contract, here's how we manage it:
- If the contract is auto-renewing, we mark the auto-renew status as yes. It then keeps auto renewing every month.
- If the auto-renew detail is not given, we assess it by looking at past spend.
- If a customer is paying every month but we only have one invoice and the customer hasn't sent other invoices, we auto-renew it so that the customer does not see it as expired since the app is active.
- If a customer sends multiple invoices (for every month), we enter the data month-by-month.
- The Productiv system also pings customers with renewal reminder notifications every month.
| Note: Our system is designed in a way that if we mark a contract as auto-renewing, the end date keeps moving forward but the start date remains the same. |
