Access overall app status details
The Overview page for an app provides an at-a-glance overall status of engagement and provisioning for the application, with summaries and references to additional app details.
The Overview page opens by default when you select an app you want to view. It is also available from other app detail pages by selecting the Overview tab.
If there are multiple instances of an application, the Overview page shows the number of instances based on activity data. Charts and summary information are based on best available data for engaged users or unique logins and percentage of total users of the app across all instances, with the ability to view details for an individual instance if needed.
The Overview page presents several visualizations to help you determine how much your organization is using the app. The metrics shown depend on the type of connector and data source and are based on activity in the app and the selected date/window of time.
- Learn more about app usage for apps with an engagement connector by reviewing the Engagement metrics, pill chart and table.
- Learn more about app usage for apps with SSO data by reviewing the Unique logins metrics, pill chart and table.
- For a discovered app or when engagement and/or login metrics are not available, the Past Spend overview shows instead of engagement or unique login metrics to help you discover the amount of money spent in the last 12 months on the app.
- Get a view of how much usage has changed for this app in the Change over time chart.
- When viewing an app with multiple instances, see the instance names and metrics in the All instances table. Select an instance to open the Overview page for that instance.
- For suites, review the Apps in this suite table to see details on usage and a compliance count for the individual apps in the suite. If there are multiple instances of the suite or the individual apps, see the number of instances for each app.
The Overview page also displays a few key details about the app, and, if selected, an individual instance. These details link to the relevant pages.
The app details include the following available information:
- App contact info - if one or more app contacts have been assigned for this app, shows the contact's title, name and email address
- Labels - shows any custom labels applied to this app and allows you to add a label
- Notes - displays any notes
- Custom Fields - displays any custom fields that are part of your organization
- Vendor - links to the Vendors page and show the name of the vendor for the app
- Security and compliance - shows which compliance certifications tracked by Productiv that this app meets
- Information - provides details on when the app was added to Productiv, category, vendor and data sources
When viewing an individual instance of an app, the details area also includes a link back to the app Overview page for the all-instance view.
